do a good deed every day is a selection from a series of improvisations performed over several months. One performance was recorded each day with no preparation.

The pieces are an attempt to document a improvised/folk style of guitar playing that I have been enjoying for a long period of time now, as well as serving as a step towards fighting against a strive for perfectionism in performance. I've intentionally left in all accidents, misplayed notes, bad tuning, and my dog occasionally keeping me company in the background.
